Intro: Well, this is my first review after my short vacation to Las Vegas. I bought this game a few days after it came out an wow!
Gameplay: Ah, the classic Mario platformer. This is everything great and awesome about the old NES and SNES Super Mario games packed into a nice little DS game. It's a blast too play through, and never really gets boring or repetitive. My only problems were the controls could have used a slight tightening up and the game is a little on the short side.
Graphics: Really good. The DS never was known as a graphic powerhouse and while that is true, you can tell that Nintendo didn't slack off on the visuals either.
Sound: Nothing really new here, typical Mario music. A few area themes have been re mixed, which is neat for a few seconds.
Controls: Like I said earlier, they could use a slight tightening up, but they shouldn't take more than 5 minuets of getting used too.
Overall: This was 40 dollars well spent, I don't know how much it is for those of you outside the U.S. but I would easily recomend this game. If you have ever played one of the old Mario games, log offline and go buy this game.
